A. Raised Planters
Students will touch, feel, and study plants they personally grow in these custom-built cedar planters.
B. Stations of the Cross Walk
Walk with Jesus on the day of his crucifixion through the courtyard by following the stations of the cross stones lining the walkway.
C. Storage Cabinet
School supplies will be stored for classroom lessons. These supplies are for school use only. Other ministries should see the parish office for supplies if they are needed.
D. Mounted White Board
Teaching staff will be able to make the outdoor space a true classroom, with the ability to write, draw, and diagram on this mounted white board.
E. Outdoor Classroom Seating Area
This open grassy space will be used to gather students for group discussions and lessons. Nature buckets will provide a unique seating and work space for each child.
F.-G. Butterfly Garden
Butterfly gardening is designed to create an environment that attracts butterflies, as well as certain moths. Children will be able to explore the wonders of insects and plant life in the garden.
H. Decade of the Rosary, Glazed Pavers
Physically walk a decade of the rosary as you pray the Hail Mary and Lord's Prayer over beautiful glazed pavers around Fr. Dennis' spectacular, hand-selected fountain.
I. Dogwood Tree
Reflect on the Legend of the Dogwood as you enjoy the splendor and shade of the OLC's very own Dogwood tree.
J. Garden of Gethsemane Prayer Rock
Relive the night Jesus prayed before his crucifixion at Gethsemane through your own prayer at the base of the Gethsemane stone. Climb, touch, and feel in your own special way a connection to Jesus.
