Cross country is a fall running sport open to both girls and boys, grades 6th-8th. The All Saints cross country team is open to children who attend surrounding Catholic schools or members of surrounding parishes. Cross-Country races are 2 miles long, with a marked course over grass, dirt, or mulch. All courses are different and may include open fields, wooded trails, creeks, school campuses, and parks.
The All Saints cross country program is proudly coached by individuals who run, train, and actively compete. With over 100 years of combined running experience and over 40 years of coaching experience, we offer a long-standing, quality cross country program open to all fitness and experience levels. All runners participate in every meet and there is no “bench.” This program focuses on the development of work ethic, goal setting, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The objectives of the program are to introduce kids to running, while building confidence, having fun, and integrating aspects of our faith.
